Job Description
We are seeking a highly professional and discreet Private Dining Room Waiter to join our esteemed team at RSVP Lagos. This role is crucial for delivering an exceptional and personalized dining experience to our guests in our exclusive private rooms. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and an unwavering commitment to maintaining confidentiality and high service standards. You will be responsible for setting up, serving, and clearing private events, ensuring every guest enjoys a flawless and memorable occasion.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up private dining rooms according to event specifications and guest preferences.
- Warmly greet and seat guests, assisting with coats and personal items as needed.
- Present menus, explain daily specials, and offer recommendations with expert knowledge of our food and beverage offerings.
- Accurately take food and drink orders, inputting them into our POS system efficiently.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally, adhering to fine dining service standards.
- Anticipate guest needs and respond proactively to ensure complete satisfaction.
- Maintain a high level of discretion and professionalism, especially when serving high-profile guests.
- Clear tables and clean dining areas discreetly and efficiently during and after events.
- Assist with post-event breakdown and setup for subsequent events.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff, bar staff, and other team members to ensure seamless service.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues with grace and efficiency.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in hospitality or service industry.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
