Job Description
We are seeking an attentive and professional Sushi Counter Waiter to join our exclusive fine dining restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, a passion for culinary excellence, and a commitment to delivering outstanding guest service. You will be responsible for enhancing the dining experience at our sushi counter by providing knowledgeable recommendations, precise order taking, and seamless service, ensuring every guest visit is nothing short of extraordinary.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests at the sushi counter with a warm and professional demeanor.
- Present menus, explain daily specials, and offer expert recommendations on sushi and beverage pairings.
- Take accurate food and drink orders, inputting them into the POS system efficiently.
- Communicate clearly with the sushi chefs regarding guest preferences and dietary restrictions.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and gracefully, adhering to fine dining service standards.
- Anticipate guest needs and respond to requests with professionalism and efficiency.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi counter area, ensuring all settings are impeccable.
- Process payments accurately and handle cash and credit card transactions.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure a cohesive dining experience.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a waiter or server in a reputable restaurant, preferably fine dining (minimum 1 year).
