Job Description
We are seeking highly skilled and compassionate Paramedics or EMTs to join our esteemed healthcare partners in Lisburn, Northern Ireland. Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly and efficiently to emergency calls, assessing patient conditions and administering immediate, appropriate medical care.
- Perform advanced life support procedures including airway management, cardiac monitoring, defibrillation, IV access, and medication administration.
- Safely extricate, lift, and transport patients to medical facilities, ensuring their comfort and stability throughout the journey.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient care records, including observations, treatments, and transfer information.
- Operate and maintain emergency vehicles and medical equipment in accordance with safety and operational guidelines.
- Collaborate effectively with other emergency services, hospital staff, and community healthcare providers.
- Adhere to all clinical protocols, policies, and professional standards.
- Provide compassionate care and support to patients and their families during stressful situations.
Required Skills
- Current Paramedic or EMT certification/license from an internationally recognized body.
- Minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience in an emergency medical setting.
- Demonstrable proficiency in advanced life support techniques and emergency procedures.
- Valid driver's license suitable for emergency vehicle operation.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
