Job Description
We are seeking dynamic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Event Ushers for various temporary assignments in Ajah. As an Event Usher, you will be the front line of our events, responsible for ensuring guests have a seamless and enjoyable experience. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking for flexible, paid work with no prior experience required. Full training will be provided, and there are no registration fees whatsoever.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly welcome and direct guests to their seats or designated areas.
- Provide information about event schedules, facilities, and procedures.
- Scan tickets or manage guest lists efficiently.
- Maintain order and ensure a safe, pleasant environment for all attendees.
- Respond to guest inquiries and resolve minor issues with a friendly demeanor.
- Assist with crowd management and emergency procedures if necessary.
- Collaborate effectively with event staff and security personnel.
- Distribute programs or promotional materials as required.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly, approachable attitude.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Punctuality and reliability are essential.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous customer service experience (though not mandatory).
- Familiarity with event environments or large public gatherings.
- Ability to speak multiple local languages (e.g., Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa) is a plus.
