Job Description
Eko Hotels & Suites is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Weekend Event Ushers. This is an excellent opportunity for undergraduates looking to gain practical experience in the hospitality and events industry, with flexible hours designed to fit around academic schedules. No prior experience is required; we provide comprehensive training to all our team members. As a Weekend Event Usher, you will be the first point of contact for guests attending various events at our prestigious venues. Your role will be crucial in ensuring a smooth, enjoyable, and safe experience for everyone. We host a diverse range of events, from conferences and concerts to weddings and gala dinners, offering a dynamic and engaging work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greeting and welcoming guests upon arrival at events.
- Directing guests to their seats, designated areas, or facilities within the venue.
- Accurately checking tickets, passes, or registration details.
- Providing accurate information about the event schedule, venue layout, and amenities.
- Assisting with crowd management and maintaining orderly queues.
- Responding to guest inquiries and resolving minor issues with a friendly and helpful attitude.
- Collaborating with event staff, security, and other departments to ensure guest safety and adherence to venue policies.
- Assisting with light event setup or breakdown as needed, such as placing signs or brochures.

- Familiarity with the Victoria Island area and Eko Hotels & Suites venues.
