Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Event Ushers. In this role, you will be the face of our events, ensuring guests have a smooth, enjoyable, and safe experience. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience in the vibrant events industry. Full training will be provided, along with a professional uniform and transportation to and from event sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Greeting and directing guests with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Scanning tickets and verifying entry credentials.
- Providing accurate information about event schedules, facilities, and seating arrangements.
- Assisting guests with finding their seats or navigating event venues.
- Maintaining order and ensuring compliance with event rules and regulations.
- Responding to guest inquiries and resolving minor issues promptly and courteously.
- Assisting with crowd control and emergency procedures as needed.
- Collaborating with other event staff to ensure a seamless event flow.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in fast-paced environments.
- Punctual and reliable.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and walk throughout large venues.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality roles is a plus, but not required.
- Familiarity with event venues in Lagos.
- Ability to speak multiple local languages is an advantage.
