Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Printing Press Finishing Hand to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be crucial to the final stages of our printing process, primarily focusing on the accurate folding and secure bagging of various printed materials. This position requires a keen eye for quality, good manual dexterity, and a commitment to maintaining production efficiency and safety standards. Full training will be provided to ensure you master the specific techniques and equipment used in our facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor folding machines to ensure precise and consistent folds according to job specifications.
- Perform manual folding for specialized or delicate print jobs.
- Neatly bag and package finished printed products, ensuring correct counts and secure sealing.
- Conduct quality checks on all folded and bagged items to identify and remove any defective products.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including machines and surrounding areas.
- Assist with other finishing tasks as needed, such as cutting, collating, or binding.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or quality issues to the supervisor promptly.
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify imperfections.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
- Basic understanding of machine operation and willingness to learn.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
