Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team as Trade Fair & Exhibition Ushers on a temporary basis for various upcoming events in Surulere, Lagos. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience in the events industry, interact with diverse attendees, and contribute to the success of major trade fairs and exhibitions. As an Usher, you will be the face of our events, responsible for providing a welcoming environment, guiding visitors, and ensuring the smooth flow of operations. Full training will be provided, making this an ideal role for entry-level candidates. A daily stipend and complimentary feeding will be provided for your service.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and welcome attendees to the event venue.
- Provide clear directions and guidance to various exhibition booths, seminar rooms, and facilities.
- Assist with ticket scanning, registration processes, and distributing event materials.
- Manage crowd control and queue lines efficiently and politely.
- Answer attendee questions regarding event schedules, exhibitor information, and general inquiries.
- Ensure the event area remains tidy and presentable throughout the day.
- Assist in managing emergencies or providing first aid assistance if trained.
- Collaborate effectively with event staff, exhibitors, and security personnel.
- Uphold a professional and positive image of the event and the company.
