Job Description
Join the premier hospitality team at Eko Hotels & Suites as a Protocol Usher & Guest Relations Assistant. You will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth flow of our events and daily operations, providing a welcoming and professional first impression to all guests. Key Responsibilities
- Warmly welcome and direct guests to their appropriate destinations within the hotel premises or event venues.
- Assist with seating arrangements and manage guest flow during events, conferences, and daily hotel operations.
- Provide accurate information about hotel services, facilities, and local attractions to guests.
- Anticipate guest needs and proactively offer assistance to ensure a comfortable and pleasant experience.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and decorum at all times, representing the hotel's brand image.
- Handle guest inquiries and minor issues with grace and efficiency, escalating complex matters to management when necessary.
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest service and operational efficiency.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of public areas, especially entrance and event spaces.
- Adhere to all safety and security protocols to ensure the well-being of guests and staff.
Required Skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and non-verbal).
- A welcoming, professional, and courteous demeanor with a strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Fluency in English (additional languages, particularly local dialects, are a significant advantage).
- High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification.
- Demonstrated ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications
