Job Description
Join our McCormick & Company team in Gaithersburg, MD, as a Factory Packer. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals looking to start a career in manufacturing and packaging. We are seeking motivated and reliable male and female candidates to assist with the packing and preparation of our diverse range of products. No prior experience is required; we provide comprehensive on-the-job training to ensure your success. This role is crucial to our operations, ensuring products are packed efficiently and meet our high standards of quality and safety before distribution.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate packing machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Inspect products for quality defects before packaging.
- Load products into designated containers, boxes, or cartons.
- Seal and label packages accurately according to product specifications.
- Monitor production lines to ensure a smooth flow of products.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Assist with other general factory duties as needed.
Required Skills
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic comprehension of safety guidelines.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
