Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Waitress to join our dynamic food and beverage team at Eko Hotels & Suites – Isolo Annex. This is a unique live-in opportunity, offering free staff accommodation for the successful candidate. As a Waitress, you will play a crucial role in delivering outstanding service, ensuring our guests have memorable dining experiences. We are looking for individuals with a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to teamwork in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and seat guests upon arrival, presenting menus and explaining daily specials.
- Accurately take food and beverage orders, offering recommendations and answering questions about menu items.
- Serve food and drinks promptly and professionally, adhering to all service standards.
- Regularly check on guests to ensure satisfaction with their meals and address any concerns promptly.
- Clear tables, reset dining areas, and assist with general restaurant cleanliness and organization.
- Process payments accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system and handle cash transactions.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service flow.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards of the establishment.

- Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work efficiently and remain calm under pressure in a busy environment.

Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of experience in a similar waiting or customer service role, preferably within a hotel or restaurant.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Ability to speak additional local languages is an advantage.
