Job Description
Are you looking for a way to earn extra income on Saturdays? Nestlé Nigeria PLC is seeking reliable and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Weekend Factory Packing Hands. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking for a part-time role to supplement their income, offering flexible Saturday-only hours. No prior experience is required, as full training will be provided. You will be instrumental in ensuring our high-quality products are perfectly packed and ready for distribution, playing a crucial role in our production line.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently sort and pack finished products into designated packaging.
- Inspect products for quality defects before packing and report any issues.
- Label packages accurately according to company standards.
- Assist with loading and unloading packed items onto pallets or into storage.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace throughout the shift.
- Adhere strictly to all factory safety and hygiene regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and continuous workflow.
Required Skills
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Reliability and punctuality for Saturday shifts.
- Basic physical fitness, including the ability to stand for extended periods and lift light packages (up to 10 kg).
- Positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
- Good team player.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a factory, warehouse, or packing environment is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Proximity to the Ikeja factory location for ease of commute.
