Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and hardworking individuals to join our team as General Factory Assistants at our Ogba facility. This entry-level position is perfect for those looking to start a career in manufacturing, offering comprehensive training and excellent opportunities for growth. As a key member of our production team, you will assist with various tasks to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our factory, with the added benefit of attractive overtime bonuses.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist production line operators with various tasks, including packing, sorting, and quality checks.
- Operate basic machinery under supervision after appropriate training.
- Load and unload materials and products, ensuring proper handling and storage.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the factory floor and assigned work areas.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
- Support inventory management by counting and reporting stock levels.
- Perform other general duties as assigned by supervisors to support factory operations.
Required Skills
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift moderately heavy items (up to 20kg).
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks.
- Commitment to safety protocols.
Preferred Qualifications
- Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE/WAEC) or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment (not required, but a plus).
