Job Description
Are you energetic, reliable, and looking for flexible weekend work? Lagos Events Group is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Daily Paid Weekend Ushers and Event Helpers in Festac Town. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone looking to gain experience in the events industry, earn extra income, and work in a dynamic environment. No prior experience is required, as comprehensive on-site training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greeting and directing guests to their designated areas.
- Providing assistance with event setup and breakdown, including moving tables, chairs, and decorations.
- Distributing programs, information packets, or promotional materials.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization in event spaces throughout the event.
- Assisting event organizers with various tasks as needed, ensuring smooth event flow.
- Monitoring entry and exit points, checking tickets or invitations where required.
- Responding to guest inquiries and providing helpful information.
- Adhering to safety protocols and emergency procedures.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift light objects (up to 15 kg).
- Availability to work weekends and occasional evenings as required by event schedules.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is a plus but not required.
- Ability to speak multiple local languages (e.g., Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa) is an advantage.
- Proactive attitude and willingness to take initiative.
