Job Description

Are you eager to launch a rewarding career in the skilled trades? Victoriaville Plumbing Solutions is seeking a motivated and hardworking Plumber’s Mate / Helper to join our growing team. This is an incredible entry-level opportunity to start your apprenticeship journey with comprehensive on-the-job training. No prior plumbing experience is required – we’re looking for individuals with a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and a desire to build a long-term career. You will work alongside experienced licensed plumbers, assisting them on various projects and learning the fundamentals of the plumbing trade from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist licensed plumbers with the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems.
  • Carry tools, equipment, and materials to and from job sites.
  • Prepare work areas, including setting up safety barriers and covering surfaces.
  • Clean work areas and plumbing equipment after completion of tasks.
  • Learn to identify various plumbing components and their functions.
  • Support plumbers by holding pipes, fittings, and other materials.
  • Perform basic manual labor tasks as directed by the lead plumber.
  • Observe and learn proper plumbing techniques and safety protocols.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle and tools.
