Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Gaming Surveillance Director to join our elite team in Chelsea, London. This pivotal role involves overseeing all aspects of our casino surveillance operations, ensuring the highest standards of security, integrity, and regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will be responsible for protecting company assets, preventing fraud, and maintaining a safe and fair gaming environment through the effective deployment and management of cutting-edge surveillance technology and a skilled surveillance team. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of surveillance operators and supervisors, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Develop, implement, and enforce robust surveillance policies and procedures in line with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee the operation and maintenance of advanced CCTV and surveillance systems, ensuring optimal performance and coverage.
  • Monitor all gaming activities, cash handling, and public areas to detect and prevent illegal activities, cheating, and procedural violations.
  • Conduct thorough investigations into suspicious activities, incidents, and disputes, providing detailed reports and evidence to management and regulatory bodies.
  • Collaborate closely with security, gaming operations, and loss prevention departments to identify risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all relevant gaming regulations, anti-money laundering (AML) laws, and data protection guidelines.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports on surveillance activities, incidents, and trends for senior management and regulatory review.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices, new technologies, and evolving threats in casino surveillance and security.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in casino surveillance, with at least 3 years in a leadership or directorial role.
  • Demonstrable expertise in operating and managing advanced CCTV and digital surveillance systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of casino games, operational procedures, and common cheating methods.
  • Thorough understanding of UK gaming regulations, compliance standards, and anti-money laundering (AML) protocols.
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing surveillance team.
  • Exceptional analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for reporting and interdepartmental collaboration.
  • Proficiency in incident report writing and evidence documentation.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant professional certifications in security, surveillance, or loss prevention.
  • Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or a related field.
