Job Description
Are you looking for an opportunity to start your career in the manufacturing industry? Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Quality Inspection Assistant at our Ogba factory. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with no prior experience who are eager to learn and grow within a leading Nigerian company. You will be responsible for assisting in basic quality checks and ensuring our products meet the highest standards of excellence. Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior quality inspectors in conducting routine visual inspections of products at various stages of production.
- Perform basic quality control tests under supervision, using provided tools and guidelines.
- Accurately record and document inspection results, identifying any deviations from quality standards.
- Report any non-conforming products or production issues to the supervisor immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety and hygiene protocols.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and company policies.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance knowledge of quality control processes and product specifications.
Required Skills
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and observation skills.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks in a factory environment.
- Eagerness to learn and a positive attitude.
- No prior experience required; full training will be provided.
Preferred Qualifications
- A minimum of a Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSCE) or equivalent.
- Basic understanding of workplace safety practices.
- Previous experience in a factory or production environment (not required, but a plus).
