Job Description

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Tour Operations Manager to join our dynamic team in Winchester. This pivotal role involves overseeing the planning, implementation, and execution of our tour packages, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional customer experiences. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing logistics, vendor relationships, and a team of operational staff, while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the end-to-end planning and execution of tour operations.
  • Manage budgets, negotiate contracts with suppliers, and ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Develop and implement operational procedures to enhance efficiency and service quality.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of operations coordinators and ground staff.
  • Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements to tour experiences.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant travel regulations and safety standards.
  • Coordinate with sales, marketing, and product development teams.
  • Handle operational challenges and provide timely resolutions.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in tour operations or a similar travel management role.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in travel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Valid driver's license (if applicable for site visits).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Tourism, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Fluency in an additional language relevant to our key destinations.
  • Experience with international travel logistics and regulations.
  • Knowledge of UK immigration processes for sponsored employees.
