Job Description
Join the City of Mandurah as a School Crossing Supervisor and play a vital role in ensuring the safety of children traveling to and from school. This part-time community role requires a dedicated individual who can commit to scheduled shifts during school terms, providing a visible and reassuring presence at designated school crossings. You will be responsible for managing pedestrian flow, stopping traffic safely, and educating children on road safety practices. Full training will be provided to ensure you are confident and competent in this important community role. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute directly to child safety within the Mandurah community.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely manage pedestrian crossings for school children during designated school hours.
- Control vehicular traffic to ensure safe passage for pedestrians.
- Educate children and motorists on road safety rules and best practices.
- Maintain a high level of vigilance and situational awareness at all times.
- Report any unusual incidents or safety concerns to the appropriate authorities.
- Represent the City of Mandurah with professionalism and a friendly demeanor.
- Adhere to all traffic management and safety protocols.

- First Aid certification.
