Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Shisha & Lounge Attendant to join our night shift team. This role is crucial in ensuring our guests enjoy a seamless and high-quality shisha experience while maintaining the lounge’s inviting atmosphere. You will be responsible for preparing, serving, and maintaining shisha pipes, assisting guests with selections, and contributing to the overall cleanliness and operational efficiency of the lounge during evening hours. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up shisha pipes according to guest preferences and lounge standards.
- Present shisha menus, advise guests on flavor selections, and upsell premium options.
- Monitor shisha pipes regularly, replenishing coal and ensuring optimal smoke quality.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shisha preparation area and equipment.
- Assist with general lounge duties, including seating guests, clearing tables, and maintaining overall lounge cleanliness.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any shisha-related issues promptly and professionally.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods.
- Process payments accurately for shisha services.
- Perform closing duties, including cleaning and storing equipment.
Required Skills
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work night shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Basic knowledge of shisha preparation and different flavors (training will be provided).
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hospitality or lounge environment.
- Familiarity with various shisha brands and accessories.
- Ability to speak multiple languages relevant to our diverse clientele.
- Knowledge of point-of-sale (POS) systems.
