Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Farm Manager to join our growing team. This is a unique opportunity for an individual with a passion for modern agriculture and a proven track record in farm operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a commercial farm, overseeing all aspects from crop planning and cultivation to livestock management (where applicable), machinery maintenance, and team leadership. This role also includes supporting candidates requiring international sponsorship, making it an excellent opportunity for skilled professionals from abroad looking to establish their career in UK agriculture. You will be instrumental in ensuring operational efficiency, adherence to budget, and achieving production targets while maintaining high standards of quality and sustainability. Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily farm operations, including crop management (drilling, spraying, harvesting) and livestock husbandry (if applicable).
- Develop and implement farm management plans to optimize yields and profitability.
- Oversee farm budgets, financial reporting, and procurement of supplies.
- Lead, train, and supervise a team of farm staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Maintain farm machinery and infrastructure, planning maintenance schedules.
- Implement sustainable farming practices and explore innovative agricultural technologies.
- Monitor crop and soil health, pests, and diseases, taking appropriate action.
- Collaborate with consultants and stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in commercial farm management or a similar senior agricultural role.
- Strong understanding of modern arable and/or livestock farming practices.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Proficiency in farm machinery operation and maintenance.
- Solid financial management and budgeting skills.

- Valid UK driving license or equivalent.
