Job Description
Are you a student looking for a rewarding part-time opportunity to gain valuable work experience and earn an income? The Place Restaurant in Sangotedo is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Student Waiters to join our evening shift team. This entry-level role is perfect for individuals eager to learn about the hospitality industry, develop customer service skills, and contribute to a fast-paced environment. Full training will be provided, so no prior experience is necessary. You will be responsible for ensuring our guests have an enjoyable dining experience from their arrival to their departure.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and seat guests upon arrival.
- Present menus and provide detailed information on specials, portion sizes, and allergens.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using our POS system.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently.
- Check on guests regularly to ensure satisfaction and respond to any additional requests.
- Clear tables, clean dining areas, and assist with general restaurant upkeep.
- Handle payment transactions and issue receipts.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service.
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
