Job Description
Join Gourmet Gatherings Nigeria as a Catering Assistant and become a vital part of our vibrant event team! This is an excellent opportunity for enthusiastic individuals looking to gain experience in the exciting world of hospitality and food service. We offer daily pay for your commitment to each event, providing a flexible and rewarding work arrangement. No prior catering experience is required – we provide comprehensive training to ensure you’re confident and capable in your role. You’ll work alongside experienced professionals, contributing to the successful execution of various events across Ilupeju and broader Lagos.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of catering events, including tables, chairs, and buffet stations.
- Help with basic food preparation tasks under the supervision of chefs and kitchen staff.
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all work areas, including kitchen and serving spaces.
- Replenish food and beverage items as needed during events.
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Support the catering team with various tasks to ensure smooth event flow.
- Adhere to all food safety and health regulations.
Required Skills
- Ability to follow instructions effectively.
