Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Protocol Usher & Guest Relations Assistant to join our esteemed team. This entry-level role is perfect for individuals with a passion for hospitality and a desire to deliver exceptional service. You will be the welcoming face of The George Ikoyi, ensuring all guests feel valued, respected, and attended to from the moment they arrive. Full training will be provided to ensure your success in this pivotal role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly welcome and assist guests upon arrival and departure, ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience.
  • Provide information and directions to guests regarding hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
  • Manage guest inquiries, requests, and minor issues with professionalism and efficiency, escalating when necessary.
  • Maintain an organized and presentable reception and lobby area.
  • Assist with event protocols, ensuring VIPs and dignitaries are handled with utmost discretion and respect.
  • Coordinate with various hotel departments to fulfill guest needs and ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Help manage guest flow and queue management during peak times or special events.
  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of hotel amenities, promotions, and safety procedures.
  • Uphold the hotel's standards of luxury and guest confidentiality at all times.
