Job Description
Filmhouse Cinemas is looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused Ushering Team Members to join our vibrant team in Ikeja. This is an excellent opportunity for students seeking flexible part-time work, where full training will be provided. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have a smooth, enjoyable, and safe cinema experience, from greeting them at the door to guiding them to their seats and maintaining the cleanliness of the auditoriums.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and assist guests with a friendly and welcoming demeanor.
- Direct guests to their respective auditoriums and seats.
- Monitor auditoriums during screenings to ensure guest comfort and address any issues.
- Assist guests with special needs, including wheelchair users and families with young children.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of all cinema areas, including auditoriums, lobbies, and restrooms, before, during, and after screenings.
- Enforce cinema policies and safety regulations.
- Provide information regarding showtimes, facilities, and promotions.
- Assist with crowd management during peak hours and special events.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Strong commitment to customer service and guest satisfaction.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Punctuality and reliability.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light lifting if required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service role is a plus, but not required.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Currently enrolled in a higher education program.
