Job Description
Join The Place Restaurant team as a Floor Waitress and be a vital part of delivering exceptional dining experiences to our valued guests in Ebute-Iga, Ikorodu. We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to provide outstanding service, ensuring every customer enjoys their visit. This full-time position offers a competitive salary, along with the added benefits of free staff meals and a share in service charges. As a Floor Waitress, you will be the face of our restaurant, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring smooth service flow. You will interact directly with customers, take their orders accurately, and serve meals and beverages efficiently. We value teamwork and a positive attitude, and we are committed to providing thorough training to help you succeed in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet guests upon their arrival and assist them with seating.
- Present menus, explain daily specials, and answer questions about food and beverages.
- Accurately take food and drink orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff.
- Serve meals and beverages promptly and professionally.
- Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with their dining experience.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve minor complaints with a polite and helpful attitude.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including setting and clearing tables.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff, bar staff, and other team members.
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
