Job Description
We are seeking a talented and motivated E-Learning Specialist / Technologist to join our dynamic team in Bozeman, Montana. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and implementing engaging and effective e-learning solutions for our global workforce and customer base. You will leverage instructional design principles, learning technologies, and multimedia tools to create compelling educational content that enhances knowledge retention and skill development. Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop engaging e-learning courses, modules, and other digital learning resources.
- Utilize a variety of instructional design methodologies (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) to create effective learning experiences.
- Operate and administer learning management systems (LMS) and other learning technology platforms.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather content, define learning objectives, and ensure accuracy.
- Develop multimedia elements including graphics, audio, video, and interactive simulations for e-learning content.
- Conduct needs assessments and evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs using relevant metrics.
- Stay current with e-learning trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Provide technical support and training to users of e-learning platforms and tools.
- Manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia).
- Strong understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning theories.
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) administration.
- Basic graphic design and multimedia editing skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience in a technology or software development environment.
- Familiarity with SCORM and xAPI standards.
- Experience with video production and editing.
