Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our kitchen team as a Weekend Kitchen Porter. This is an excellent opportunity for students or anyone looking for flexible weekend shifts in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. No prior experience is required, as full training will be provided. Your main role will be to support the kitchen staff in maintaining cleanliness and organization, ensuring the smooth operation of our busy restaurant.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with washing dishes, cutlery, pots, and pans using dishwashers and by hand.
- Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen work areas, floors, and equipment.
- Help with basic food preparation tasks as directed by the chefs (e.g., peeling vegetables).
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is clean and stored correctly.
- Support with receiving and storing deliveries.
- Empty bins and manage waste disposal.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
