Job Description
Are you looking for an entry-level opportunity to kickstart your career in logistics? DHL Supply Chain in Ilupeju is seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team as Warehouse Picker & Packer. No prior experience is required – we provide comprehensive training to ensure you succeed. This role is crucial to our operations, involving the accurate and efficient handling of goods within our state-of-the-art warehouse facility. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders according to specified procedures and quality standards.
- Utilize handheld scanners and other equipment to track inventory and process shipments.
- Verify product quantities and ensure items are free from damage before packing.
- Prepare items for shipping, including labeling and staging.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as needed.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet daily targets.
Required Skills
- Ability to read and understand basic instructions in English.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 25kg, stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic understanding of warehouse safety principles (training will be provided).
- Familiarity with inventory systems (but not required as training is comprehensive).
