Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Senior Architect to join our dynamic team in Cranston, Rhode Island. This pivotal role involves leading the design, development, and delivery of complex architectural projects from concept through completion. The Senior Architect will be responsible for managing project teams, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards, and maintaining high levels of client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage architectural project teams, providing guidance and mentorship to junior staff.
  • Oversee the full project lifecycle, from initial concept design and feasibility studies to construction administration and project close-out.
  • Develop innovative and sustainable design solutions that meet client objectives, budget, and schedule.
  • Ensure all designs and deliverables comply with local, state, and federal building codes, zoning regulations, and other relevant standards.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for clients, fostering strong relationships and ensuring effective communication.
  • Prepare and present detailed architectural drawings, specifications, and reports.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering disciplines, project managers, and stakeholders to achieve integrated project solutions.
  • Conduct site visits, inspections, and assessments to monitor construction progress and quality.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in architectural design and project management.
  • Proficiency in architectural software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.
  • Strong understanding of building codes, construction techniques, and sustainable design principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead project teams and manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven experience in client relationship management and stakeholder engagement.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional architectural license (AIA or equivalent).
  • Master's degree in Architecture or related field.
  • LEED AP or other sustainability accreditations.
  • Experience with advanced visualization tools (e.g., Rhino, Grasshopper, Enscape).
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management credentials.
