Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Printing Press Finishing Hand to join our production team in Festac Town. In this role, you will be crucial to the post-press process, primarily focusing on the accurate folding and bagging of various printed materials. This position requires an individual with a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Training will be provided, but prior experience in a print production setting is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain folding and bagging machinery safely and efficiently.
- Monitor product quality during the finishing process, identifying and rectifying any defects.
- Ensure accurate counts and proper packaging of finished goods.
- Prepare finished materials for dispatch, including labeling and stacking.
- Perform routine quality checks on all outgoing products to meet company standards.
- Assist with other post-press operations as needed, including cutting, binding, or laminating.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and operational procedures.
Required Skills
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and production schedules.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Basic understanding of machinery operation (training provided).
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weight.
