Job Description
Are you enthusiastic, eager to learn, and passionate about delivering excellent service? Protea Hotel by Marriott, Ikorodu is excited to announce an opportunity for an entry-level Food & Beverage Server. No prior experience is required for this role – we are looking for individuals with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. We will provide comprehensive training to equip you with all the skills needed to succeed in a dynamic hotel restaurant and bar environment. This is an ideal stepping stone for anyone looking to build a career in hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet guests, present menus, and assist with beverage and food selections.
- Accurately take and relay food and beverage orders to the kitchen or bar staff.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently to guests.
- Ensure guests' needs are met throughout their dining experience, proactively checking for satisfaction.
- Clear and reset tables according to established standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve minor complaints with a professional and friendly demeanor.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other team members.
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Process payments and handle cash/credit transactions accurately.
