Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Cafe Waitress to join our team for a consistent day shift. In this role, you will be the face of Lagos Brew & Bites, responsible for providing excellent customer service, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring our customers have a delightful experience. This is a full-time position with fixed hours from 8am to 5pm, Monday to Saturday, allowing for a predictable schedule and work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet customers upon their arrival and assist them with seating.
- Present menus, answer questions about menu items, and make recommendations.
- Accurately take food and beverage orders and relay them to kitchen staff.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously.
- Process customer payments efficiently using our point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Ensure tables are clean, properly set, and reset quickly after customers depart.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations.
- Assist with other cafe duties as needed, including stocking and light prep work.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues with a positive attitude.
