Job Description
Southern Sun Ikoyi Hotel is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as an Entry Level Hostess. This is an incredible opportunity for individuals with little to no prior experience, including OND/SSCE holders, to kickstart a career in the vibrant hospitality industry. We are committed to providing comprehensive training and development to help you excel in this role. As a Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience with your warm welcome and professional demeanor. Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and welcome guests upon their arrival at the restaurant/dining area.
- Escort guests to their tables, presenting menus and ensuring a comfortable seating arrangement.
- Manage reservations efficiently using our system and maintain accurate seating charts.
- Answer incoming calls, take reservations, and provide information about the restaurant and menu.
- Assist with guest inquiries and special requests, ensuring a smooth and pleasant dining experience.
- Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to manage guest flow and seating availability.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the host stand and entrance area.
- Thank guests as they depart and invite them to return.
Required Skills
- Minimum of OND/SSCE qualification.
