Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Outdoor Catering Waiters to join our growing team. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about hospitality and dedicated to providing excellent service at private parties and home events. You will be instrumental in ensuring our guests have a seamless and delightful dining experience, from setup to clean-up. This is an on-site position based in Surulere, requiring flexibility for various event locations within Lagos State.
Key Responsibilities
- Setting up tables, chairs, decorations, and food service areas according to event specifications.
- Serving food and beverages to guests in a professional, courteous, and timely manner.
- Responding promptly and politely to guest requests and inquiries.
- Clearing tables and tidying up event spaces during and after events.
- Assisting with the transportation and organization of catering equipment.
- Maintaining a high standard of personal hygiene and appearance.
- Collaborating effectively with the catering team to ensure smooth event execution.
Required Skills
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal.
- High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and navigate event spaces.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
- A proactive and positive attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of previous experience in catering, hospitality, or customer service roles.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Familiarity with various table settings and service styles.
- A valid food handler's permit (or willingness to obtain one).
