Job Description
The Velvet Lounge is seeking an enthusiastic and professional Cocktail Waitress to join our energetic team. We are looking for an individual with a passion for hospitality, an outgoing personality, and a commitment to providing outstanding service. As a Cocktail Waitress, you will be a key part of our guest experience, serving a diverse range of beverages with grace and efficiency. Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and present menus in a clear and engaging manner.
- Take accurate drink orders and relay them to the bar staff promptly.
- Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and elegance.
- Anticipate guest needs and respond to inquiries or requests efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including tables and service stations.
- Process guest payments accurately using our POS system.
- Collaborate with bartenders and other team members to ensure smooth service flow.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Upsell drinks and promote special offers when appropriate.
- Contribute to a positive and inviting atmosphere for all patrons.
Required Skills
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

- Basic knowledge of cocktail types and bar operations (training provided).

- Must be at least 18 years old.

- Familiarity with POS systems.
- Ability to speak multiple local languages (e.g., Yoruba).
