Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and diligent Factory Packaging Hands to join our production team in Ikeja, Lagos. This vital role is crucial for ensuring our products are packaged efficiently and meet stringent quality standards before distribution. The successful candidates will be responsible for various packaging tasks on the production line, contributing directly to our operational excellence and commitment to delivering quality products to our consumers. Key Responsibilities
- Operate packaging machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Inspect products for quality defects before, during, and after packaging processes.
- Load and unload items onto conveyor belts and packaging lines accurately.
- Seal, label, and box finished products according to specific guidelines and standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, strictly adhering to all hygiene and safety standards.
- Monitor packaging supplies and proactively report any shortages to supervisors to prevent production delays.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure a smooth and continuous production flow.
- Assist in general factory tasks and support other production areas as required.
Required Skills
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately and consistently.
- Good manual dexterity and physical stamina for repetitive tasks and standing for long periods.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Ability to work effectively and cooperatively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Basic understanding of factory safety procedures and willingness to adhere to them.
- Proven reliability and punctuality in previous work or personal commitments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a factory, warehouse, or production environment.
- Familiarity with basic packaging processes or operating simple machinery.
- Basic literacy (ability to read labels, batch codes, and simple instructions).
- High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.
