Job Description
Are you looking for flexible, well-paid weekend work in a lively environment? The WIN Entertainment Centre is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Event Ushers to join our casual team. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who enjoy being part of exciting events, thrive on providing excellent service, and are available for weekend shifts. No prior experience is required – full training will be provided to ensure you are confident and capable in your role. We offer a high hourly rate for your commitment and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and direct patrons to their seats and facilities.
- Provide assistance and information regarding event schedules, venue amenities, and safety procedures.
- Maintain a safe and orderly environment by monitoring crowd flow and identifying potential hazards.
- Respond to patron inquiries and concerns in a professional and helpful manner.
- Assist with emergency procedures, including evacuations, as required.
- Ensure compliance with venue policies and procedures, including ticket verification.
- Work effectively as part of a team to deliver seamless event experiences.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- A friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliability and punctuality for scheduled shifts.
- A strong commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service or event-based role (even informal).
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) competency card (highly regarded but not essential).
- Current First Aid certification.
