Job Description

Join the vibrant team at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) as a Costume Design & Wardrobe Intern. As an intern, you will support all aspects of costume design and wardrobe management for various theatrical and musical productions. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with costume construction, alterations, and repairs under supervision.
  • Organize and maintain wardrobe inventory, ensuring costumes are cataloged and stored properly.
  • Support the wardrobe team during rehearsals and performances, including dressing, quick changes, and laundry.
  • Research historical and contemporary costume styles for upcoming productions.
  • Help with costume fittings and adjustments for performers.
  • Ensure all costumes are clean, pressed, and show-ready for each event.
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative backstage environment.
