Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Rooftop Lounge Servers to join our team at the Sheraton Lagos Hotel. You will be instrumental in creating an inviting and memorable experience for our guests in our stunning rooftop lounge. This role requires excellent customer service skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-end environment. Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and present menus in a clear and knowledgeable manner.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and promptly using our POS system.
- Serve food and drinks to guests in a professional and timely fashion.
- Anticipate guest needs and respond to special requests or concerns with a positive attitude.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lounge area, including tables, chairs, and bar.
- Ensure all beverage and food items are served according to established standards and presentation guidelines.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently, handling cash and credit card transactions.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other team members to ensure smooth service.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Assist with opening and closing duties as required.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably in hospitality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
- A positive attitude and a passion for guest satisfaction.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a server in a lounge, bar, or restaurant setting.
- Familiarity with POS systems (e.g., Micros, Aloha).
- Knowledge of various alcoholic beverages and cocktail preparation.
- Certification in food hygiene or safety.
