Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as a VIP Lounge Hostess – Table Reservation Coordinator. In this pivotal role, you will be the first point of contact for our esteemed VIP guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, managing exclusive lounge access, and meticulously handling table reservations. This role demands exceptional communication skills, a proactive approach to guest services, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of luxury hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and welcome VIP guests to the lounge, ensuring a seamless entry experience.
- Manage the VIP lounge seating arrangements and allocate tables efficiently based on guest preferences and lounge capacity.
- Handle all incoming table reservations via phone, email, and in-person, accurately recording details and confirming bookings.
- Maintain an organized reservation system, tracking special requests, guest preferences, and potential conflicts.
- Communicate effectively with lounge management, kitchen staff, and service teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and professionally, escalating when necessary.
- Provide information about lounge services, menu offerings, and special promotions.
- Assist with VIP events and special functions hosted within the lounge.
- Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and ambiance within the VIP lounge area.
- Process guest checks and handle payments accurately at the point of service when required.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a customer service or hospitality role, preferably in a high-end establishment.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a professional and friendly demeanor.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail, particularly in managing reservations.
- Proficiency in using reservation software and basic office applications.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Impeccable personal presentation and grooming.
- Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a hostess or front desk agent in a luxury hotel or restaurant.
- Knowledge of local attractions and services to assist VIP guests with recommendations.
- A degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field.
