Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Cafe Waitress to join our team at The Artizan Cafe & Bistro. This is a full-time position for day shifts, working consistently from 8am to 5pm. As a Cafe Waitress, you will be the face of our establishment, ensuring every guest receives prompt, friendly, and efficient service. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, maintaining a clean and organized dining area, and contributing to a positive customer experience. Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests warmly upon their arrival.
- Present menus, answer questions about menu items, and make recommendations.
- Accurately take food and beverage orders using our point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
- Check on guests regularly to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
- Process payments and handle cash/card transactions accurately.
- Clear and reset tables efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Assist with opening and closing duties as required.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
