Job Description
Are you a fresh OND or SSCE graduate looking to kickstart your career in the vibrant hospitality sector? The Place Restaurant is excited to offer an immediate placement opportunity for an Entry Level Hostess in our Oshodi branch. No prior experience is required – we believe in nurturing talent from the ground up! You will be the welcoming face of our restaurant, ensuring every guest feels valued and has a seamless dining experience. Full training will be provided to equip you with all the skills you need to excel in this role and grow with us.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and welcome all guests upon arrival.
- Efficiently manage the waiting list and guide guests to their tables.
- Present menus and inform guests of daily specials.
- Assist guests with any inquiries, offering excellent customer service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the host stand and entrance area.
- Coordinate with waitstaff and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Handle reservation inquiries and manage booking systems.
- Ensure a positive first impression for all diners.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Previous experience in customer service or a public-facing role (even volunteer).
