Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Part-Time Sunday Buffet Waiter to join our vibrant team at The George, Lagos. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about hospitality and providing exceptional service in a dynamic buffet setting. You will be responsible for ensuring our guests enjoy a seamless and delightful dining experience during our popular Sunday brunch. The shift is from 8am to 4pm, offering consistent hours and the benefit of complimentary meals during your shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and prepare the buffet area before service, ensuring cleanliness and proper presentation.
- Greet guests warmly and assist them with any requests or inquiries regarding the buffet items.
- Ensure all food and beverage stations are well-stocked and replenished throughout the shift.
- Clear tables efficiently and discreetly, maintaining a tidy dining environment.
- Assist guests with special dietary needs or requests, coordinating with kitchen staff as necessary.
- Handle guest feedback and resolve minor issues promptly and professionally, escalating complex matters to supervisors.
- Maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and appearance.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Assist with the breakdown and cleaning of the buffet area after service.
