Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and energetic Sports Bar Servers to join our team for matchday shifts. If you have a passion for sports, enjoy a fast-paced environment, and love making guests feel welcome, this is the perfect opportunity for you. You will be responsible for providing exceptional service during our busiest times, ensuring a memorable experience for all our patrons.
Key Responsibilities
- Taking food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
- Serving food and drinks in a timely manner, maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Processing payments using our POS system and handling cash/card transactions.
- Ensuring the bar and dining areas are clean, tidy, and well-stocked before, during, and after shifts.
- Engaging with customers, answering questions, and resolving any issues promptly and courteously.
- Adhering to all food safety and alcohol service regulations.
- Collaborating with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays, especially during major sports events.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a server or in a customer-facing role in a hospitality setting.
- Knowledge of common bar drinks and menu items.
