Job Description
Are you looking for a dynamic way to earn extra income on weekends? Spectra Events Management is seeking motivated and friendly individuals for a Weekend Ushering Gig. This role is perfect for those who enjoy interacting with people, have a positive attitude, and are available to work during event hours, primarily on Saturdays and Sundays. No prior experience is required, as full training will be provided to ensure you are confident and capable in your role.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greeting and directing guests to their designated seats or areas.
- Providing information about the event schedule, facilities, and any relevant details.
- Assisting guests with inquiries and resolving minor issues with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Ensuring a smooth flow of traffic and maintaining order within the event premises.
- Distributing programs, brochures, or other materials as required.
- Working collaboratively with event staff to ensure guest satisfaction and event success.
- Adhering to all safety protocols and event guidelines.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- A positive, friendly, and approachable attitude.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in fast-paced environments.
- Reliability and punctuality.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is a plus, but not mandatory.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and holidays, as per event schedules.
