Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Cafe Waitress to join our dedicated team at The Haven Cafe & Bistro. This full-time position operates exclusively during day shifts, from 8am to 5pm, ensuring a consistent schedule and no late nights. If you are passionate about providing excellent customer service, possess a friendly demeanor, and are eager to learn and grow in the hospitality industry, we encourage you to apply. Full training will be provided, making this an ideal opportunity for individuals with a positive attitude, even if you have no prior cafe experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet customers upon arrival and assist them with seating.
- Present menus, answer questions about menu items, daily specials, and ingredients.
- Accurately take food and beverage orders from customers.
- Serve meals and drinks promptly and efficiently.
- Clear tables, clean dining areas, and reset tables for new guests.
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and resolve any issues with a polite and professional attitude.
- Process customer payments accurately using our point-of-sale system.
- Ensure the dining area is clean, tidy, and well-maintained throughout the shift.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service.
- Assist with general cafe upkeep and closing procedures as required.
