Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Fine Dining Waiter to join our esteemed culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess a profound understanding of upscale service, an unwavering commitment to guest satisfaction, and a keen eye for detail. You will be responsible for creating memorable dining experiences, ensuring every guest feels valued and pampered. Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and assist them with seating arrangements in our fine dining restaurants.
- Present menus, answer questions about menu items, and make recommendations tailored to guest preferences.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, using a POS system where applicable.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally, adhering to fine dining etiquette.
- Anticipate guest needs and respond proactively to ensure a seamless dining experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints with grace and efficiency, escalating to management when necessary.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and correct order delivery.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Participate in daily briefings and training sessions.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a waiter or waitress in a high-end restaurant or hotel setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service orientation with a pleasant and professional demeanor.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure.
- Thorough knowledge of food and beverage service, including table setting and silver service.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in food safety and hygiene.
- Knowledge of wine pairings and spirits.
