Eko Hotels & Suites is looking for enthusiastic and professional Red Carpet Ushers to join our vibrant team for high-profile weekend gigs. This is a fantastic chance for individuals passionate about customer service, event management, and making a lasting impression. No prior experience is required; we provide comprehensive training to ensure you are fully prepared to deliver exceptional service and represent our brand with pride.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and direct guests to their assigned seats or designated areas on the red carpet and within event venues.
- Maintain an organized and aesthetically pleasing red carpet and event entrance area.
- Provide information about the event, facilities, and services with a polite and helpful demeanor.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve minor issues with professionalism and efficiency.
- Ensure a smooth flow of traffic and adhere to event protocols and safety guidelines.
- Assist with coat check or program distribution as required.
- Collaborate effectively with event staff, security, and management to ensure event success.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly, approachable attitude.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
- Impeccable personal presentation and grooming.
- Reliability and punctuality for scheduled shifts.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and assist guests as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service or guest relations role (informal or formal).
- Familiarity with event etiquette and VIP service standards.
- Multilingual abilities (e.g., French, Yoruba, Igbo) are a plus.
