Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our team as an Orthodontic Therapist (Trainee) at our Swansea practice. This is an exciting entry-level opportunity for someone passionate about healthcare and eager to start a rewarding career in orthodontics. No prior experience in orthodontics is required, as full comprehensive training will be provided to help you develop the necessary skills and qualifications to become a fully qualified Orthodontic Therapist. You will work alongside experienced professionals, learning on the job and contributing to the excellent care we provide to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist qualified Orthodontic Therapists and Orthodontists during patient appointments.
  • Prepare clinical areas and sterilise instruments in accordance with practice guidelines.
  • Provide chairside assistance for a wide range of orthodontic procedures.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and assist with administrative duties as required.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices relevant to orthodontic treatment.
  • Ensure patient comfort and provide support throughout their treatment journey.
  • Actively participate in training programs and continuous professional development.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations and infection control policies.
